As a composer, his work has gained the recognition of his professional colleagues, especially of Antonio Canales, to whose company he belongs and for many of whose shows he has written the music. He composed successful songs that do not belong to the traditional styles, some of them for Pata Negra, the band that is a standard-bearer for flamenco-fusion.
His debut album was a long time coming. It did not arrive until 1999, with the record Cuando el río suena. It was awaited with great expectation, and it did not dissapoint the critics or the public, and offered both variety and quality. |
