Flamenco shoes store 1- Returns policy In esflamenco.com we do everything we can to ensure that our customers receive their correct shoe size, although we realise that this is difficult, because a slight difference in the sizing policy of different brands or a couple of millimetres' difference with regards to foot measurements can result in the shoe being small, or too large. For this reason, it is not esflamenco.com's responsibility if you receive a pair of shoes whose size is incorrect. The shoes that are sold in esflamenco.com are manufactured using hand-crafting techniques; they are individually made for each customer. For this reason, we cannot offer any refunds when the shoe does not fit properly, although we can offer the possibility to change them, only if this change is for a pair of shoes of the same model, colour and material as the ones that are returned. Moreover, it is absolutely indispensable for the pair of shoes that is returned not to have signs of use or of being worn out. In case this happens, please contact our Customer Service Department. In case you are changing a pair of shoes, the delivery and customs
charges will be paid by customers, except for cases in which
the return is a replacement of products that are damaged, defective or
were sent by mistake, for which esflamenco.com will take responsibility
for any charges that are incurred. 2- How can I find out my shoe size? One of the easiest ways of knowing your shoe size is to send us your
Spanish shoe size. This is easy if you have already used flamenco shoes
successfully. The majority of Spanish brands(Ainhoa, Menkes, Don Flamenco, Unlike other brands, Bulería Sabates uses the European standard size. The European standard size is one size more than the traditional Spanish flamenco size. E.g. a 36 for Menkes is a 37 for Bulería Sabates. If you have never used Spanish-made flamenco shoes in the past, we will
give you details of two different systems for checking your size. 2.1- System 1: Shoe size conversion table If you don't know your flamenco dance shoe size you can use this approximate sizing chart to convert European, North American (USA) or Japanese shoe sizes into Spanish sizes. Remember that the Spanish size is the one you must use when you place your shoe order.
2.2- System 2: How to take your foot measurement To take a correct measurement of your foot, it is very important for you to follow the instructions below closely:
Once you have measured your right foot and your left foot
– following the instructions above-, choose the highest of the two measurements
and enter the chart to convert centimetres or inches
into the Spanish size that is featured below. Once you are in the
chart, always select the size that is immediately above the figure that
you have measured in centimetres or inches. Example: 2.3- Compatibility between the two systems The measurements obtained by using system 1 and system 2 must coincide. If this is not the case, we recommend that you use the largest size of the two. 3- What is the difference between the Spanish size and the continental European shoe size? The Spanish size is the one that has always been used in Spain. However, a few years ago, in order to adapt to common European Union standards, Spain switched to the European shoe size numbering system (also known as continental). The change involved an increase in the number of the Spanish shoe size, so that what was previously a 36 became a 37, a 37 became a 38 and so on. Most of the street shoes that are sold in Spain follow the European shoe size numbering system. Nonetheless, most flamenco shoe manufacturers continue to use the old Spanish shoe size numbering system. The situation that we have just described applies to the brands of shoes that you can find in esflamenco.com: Zapatos Menkes and Zapatos Ainhoa use the Spanish shoe size numbering system for their shoes. Other manufacturers who also use the Spanish shoe size numbering system are: Begoña Cervera, Don flamenco, Gallardo and Ball Pilmar, among others. Unlike other brands, Bulería Sabates uses the European standard size.
The European standard size is one size more than the traditional Spanish
flamenco size. 4- My foot has some special characteristics
