Content: 1 DVD

This video focuses on flamenco dancing in depth, and looks at an advanced technique. It explains the meaning of an “escobilla”, a “llamada”, “marcar”; it describes the different types of flamenco turns; what a “patada por bulerías” is; how to keep time by hand clapping; how to interpret the guitar playing and the singing; when to start dancing; when to stop; and lots more… Furthermore, it uses some simple choreographies to illustrate the basics of dancing in soleá, alegría and bulería styles, so that dancers may then be able to compose their own dances. Dancing: Fernando Villalobos, Pilar Pérez de Guzmán and Cintia. Singing: Rafael Fajardo. Guitar: A. Cortés, M. Cortés. Estimated length: 45 mins.

bases del baile flamenco
The quality of this Dvd is mediocre, the loud noise we hear at the start of the dvd maybe due to the poor recording.Unfortunately the entire lesson was done in spanish, it's not a big help for the non-spanish speaking beginners. The studio have a dull wall, the scene looks so sad for a supposed to be lively and colofurful dance. Paris, France
