A key record that marks a break in Camarón's career, sees him performing for the first time with a new guitarist, Tomatito, and in which Kiko Veneno and Raimundo Amador take part. This work opens up new horizons to flamenco, bringing it closer to rock, jazz and Oriental traditions. According to popular legend, at the time old gypsies were going back to shops to return the record, saying that this wasn't Camarón. Alongside the guitar and hand-clapping, this album featured the addition of a bass, drums, flute, Moog keyboard, Fender piano and even a zither. The record is dedicated to the memory of Federico García Lorca and recovers his poetry in five musical adaptations, as well as including a popular poetic composition, La Tarara.
This edition follows the original design and includes a booklet with photographs from the period, commentary by faustino Núñez and José Manuel Gamboa, and the lyrics of the songs featured in the record (without the musical scores).
