Terremoto is possibly the best example of an inspirational gypsy cantaor (flamenco singer) from the second half of the century. Gutsy, irregular, vibrant, laden with duende (a spirit that represents magic, inspiration, or a trance-like condition that has to do with the delivery or expression of flamenco art), his role in the history of flamenco singing cannot be left aside. Here, his earliest and most accomplished recordings are included, three of which are previously unreleased, and unknown for most people.
