Flamenco practice skirt, made of knitwear (100% nylon). It has six seams and six gores. This skirt does not have any ruffles. The waistband is elastic, with neither a zip nor snap button, which means that it adjusts perfectly to the waistband of bailaoras (female flamenco dancers) and is easy to touch up if it requires some slight tightening. It is available in a range of colours and sizes.
Important warning: This is a skirt that is custom-made using craft methods. Thus, it takes between 15 and 25 days for it to become available after an order is received.
Definitions
Seam: Pieces of material that are cut vertically from the waist down to the ruffle or the bottom of the skirt and sewn. They give the skirt its substance. The more seams a skirt has, the more material has been used and the more it will glide.
Gore: pleats of material that cut in layers that are added to the bottom of the skirt to make it glide better and heavier.
Ruffle: A strip of gathered material that is added on as decoration.
Follow our practical advice to choose your skirt The practice skirt must fulfil the following requirements: it must be comfortable, glide well, and look nice on you.
