Specialists in the field consider the series "Rito y Geografía del Cante" the best series on flamenco of all time, and it constitutes a priceless historic audio-visual production. It is an exhaustive study concerning artists, styles, geographical and historical contexts that featured the collaboration and advice of the most prestigious flamencologists of the time.
The series has been re-edited, with a careful restoration and re-mastering work, involving both the sound and images. This new edition is published in the format of a DVD-book: the DVD features over two hours' worth of performances, interviews and reports; the book contains in-depth information about artists and flamenco styles.
The complete series is made up of twenty-four volumes, which can be purchased individually or in packs, each of which contains four volumes. Each volume contains four chapters of the original series and, thus, each case or pack contains 16 chapters of the original series.
