It is the first record by this worthy successor of Paco de Lucía, who also passes on the difficult art of flamenco guitar playing to the new generations. In this record he already shows his experience, feeling and virtuosity, and in the year when it was released critics considered him the “great white hope” of the flamenco guitar. His contact with jazz reminds him of certain flamenco forms that allow unrestrained improvisation. The everlasting memory of Jerez (Cádiz) combines with musical crossbreeding: oriental, jazz, bossa nova and classical themes.
