A flamenco-jazz record based on pieces, using both the saxophone and the flute, that dance and theatre companies commissioned from this top-class composer. He is joined by several peculiar soloists: the New York accordion player Gil Goldstein, Italian trumpetist Paolo Fresu, tiple (twelve-string treble guitar) player José Antonio Ramos from the Canary Islands, the bass and mandolin player Carles Benavent, the bailaor Tomasito for palm-clapping and jaleos (vocal accompaniment involving loud interjections of encouragement or admiration), and guitarists Jose María Bandera and Juan Diego. Venezualan musician Antonio Soteldo wrote the musical arrangements and contributed three pieces.
