La Niña de Antequera came to be known as "the golden voice of Andalusia", and she left behind a legacy that, due to her style, has never been equalled by anyone. The record includes ¡Ay, mi perro!, one of the most famous songs of her time, which Almodóvar himself did not hesitate to retrieve years later for one of his films. This CD is a compilation of some of the cantaora's (female flamenco singer) most popular songs, and it does not have as strong a flamenco flavour as the previous volume in this collection.
