The voice of this gypsy from the Rastro in Madrid with the solitary and exquisite guitar of Niño Josele, live in the Teatro Real on 25 July 2002. The record is a testimony of this feat. Diego and Josele went all out in this royal performance: soleá, cantes de Levante, fandangos de Huelvas, tientos/tangos, bulerías and fandangos naturales. In the event, it was a cantaor (flamenco singer) giving the best of himself nakedly, without any adornment, and who has earned himself a privileged place among flamenco artists.

Es interesante ver en los ojos de Diego, es increible conocer y poder expresar que este cantante tiene motivacion y corazon dado en su voz y en su mirada, doy gracias a Dios por haberme dado la oportunidad de poder escuchar y ver El Senor Diego interpretando Lagrimas Negras con el conocido Bebo. Gracias Diego y que el Senor Dios bendiga tu voz y tu mirada, pues en ti se ve que romperas mas corazones en suenos y en el sonar de tu voz.
