The recordings featured in this album, with the guitar playing of Antonio Arenas and Manuel Heredia, are some of the most expressive samples from this important artist from Extremadura. They are 23 songs among which the Extremaduran variations of tangos and jaleos are worth highlighting, as are the tarantos and Levant cantes (from the eastern coast), of which Ramón El Portugués was a consummate expert.
