The most significant palos (forms) interpreted by women throughout the history of flamenco, performed by Carmen Linares. It is a veritable tribute to the female voice, and to the feelings of flamenco women, through 27 tracks gathered in a double CD that has become a reference work. The art, duende (a flamenco spirit involving magic and inspiration that sometimes possesses performers) and mastery of the Jaen cantaora, surrounded as ever by great guitarists: Riqueni, Amigo, Cepero and Tomatito are among those who participate in this work.

Sentimiento
La figura de Carmen Linares es base fundamental en el flamenco actual,le da frescura a los palos fuertes y densidad a los cantes mas frescos. Su voz parece desgarradora como la de Janis Joplin y sus agudos a los de Wylly Holiday, creo que lo tiene todo y mas que nos dará esa mujer de aspecto frágil pero con temperamento en el cante.La vi actuando en Lisboa cuando viví una temporada, y el público se levantó de los asientos para decirle "Guapa".La vi actuando en el Palacio Real e idem de lo mismo "Guapa"...
Además Carmen es tan sencilla que se acerca a peñas remotas de Madrid como por ejemplo "los cabales" en Entrevias, donde todavia su presidente ( Rufino ) habla de ella como alguien entrañable."Ramito de Locura" es un trabajo escepcional y junto a Jerardo Nuñez simplemente lo borda. Carmen, sigue haciendo lo que haces que tus seguidores te lo agradecen.

その中でも一番ききごたえがあります。la mujer en el canteと題された
様に、パストーラやペルラ・デ・カディスの歌った伝統的な（伝説的な？）
曲をカバー。フラメンコにはまったら是非聞きたい一枚です。
