This record is part of a new edition of the famous flamenco collection entitled “Series in a … style”, in which EMI and Hispavox brought together a large number of flamenco forms and styles. This new phase includes several novelty features. The catalogue has been updated to feature new artists and the graphic design is also more modern.

This volume, entitled Por Malagueñas, Granaínas y Media Granaína, features Manuel Cano, Enrique Morente, Carmen Linares, Manuel Soto sordera, El Flecha de Cádiz, Porrinas de Badajoz, Niño Ricardo, Bernardo el de Los Lobitos, Pericón de Cádiz, El Chocolate, Los Chiquitos de Algeciras and Sabicas.
