In this record, Paco de Lucía is responsible for the arrangements and execution of songs that were collected by the great poet Federico García Lorca. He made it when he was only 18 years old, in 1965, and it was re-edited in 2002, when its sound was re-mastered.
The record includes the most important popular songs that were brought together by García Lorca: tonadillas, bulerías, jaleos and seguidillas.
The guitarist Ricardo Modrego, with whom Paco de Lucía toured repeatedly between 1962 and 1964, also took part in the record.
