"Atún y Chocolate" (Tuna and Chocolate) is the first solo record by Nono García (Barbate. Cádiz, 1959) in Spain, after his repeated cooperation with other artists (Carlos Cano, among others) and his participation in the international group "Vaya con Dios".
"Atún y Chocolate" includes different sounds: jazz, blues, bossa, bolero, popular songs, rumbas, alegrías..., all of which have an Andalusian, flamenco flavour. It also enjoys the participation of several artists: Eva Durán (cantaora), Jorge Pardo (sax), Guillermo McGuill (percussion), Tito Alcedo (guitar)... and Ester, his daughter, who performs "Barbate, atún y chocolate", a song with a Brazilian rhythm that he dedicates to his hometown.
