The spring of 2004 has left us without the slight figure and the enormous heart of Juanito Valderrama. The copla (traditional Spanish popular singing) is now silent, and flamenco, an orphan. The release of this double CD is a heartfelt tribute to his memory. It is a compilation of 48 songs featuring all his greatest hits and creations, including the version of 'Pena mora' which he performed in a duo with Serrat in 1994, and, to round off the record and to lend continuity to the Valderrama family saga, the incredible version of 'El emigrante' by his own son Juan Valderrama is also included. 'Adiós, mi España querida' ('Farewell my beloved Spain') - Farewell, don Juan Valderrama.
