“Fragua Futura” continues the Jóvenes Flamencos series that the Nuevos Medios record label started to release in the 1990s, to give an opportunity to up-and-coming young artists. The record successfully combines young promises of flamenco like Triana Heredia, Kímica and Los Malaguita with other musicians who have already earned recognition, like Montoyita, El Negri and Estrella Morente. All of them belong to recognised flamenco families. The record is completed by the production work undertaken by Javier Limón and El Negri, and includes some peculiar contributions like the ones made by the bullfighters Javier Conde and Enrique Ponce, or by Raúl González, the Real Madrid football player, in the choruses and palmas (rhythmic hand clapping).
