Considered one of Camarón's heirs, in the year when the genius from the island died (1992), Duquende inherited Tomatito's guitar. Some time later he also began working with Paco de Lucía. In this work, he unites his teacher's two emblematic guitarists and brings in other great musicians like Carles Benavent, Tino di Geraldo and the Carmona brothers (Ketama) to accompany them.

No need to Understand the Words inorder to Feel The Intense Passion Found in the Superb Duo.
I dont have much to say..except that Duquende is on of the Deepest/Intreguing Flamenco Singers.

Enchanting
The first time i heard about this great artist is when I bought "world acoustivc music"? I was enchanted by his voice full of passion, sadness that rips your heart out or make u listen even though I cant understand the lyrics I can tell that Duquende is telling a story of his people, the ill treatment of the Gypses at the time. The accompanists are also great musicians in their own right.The guitars sound very sumptious and a little bit of saxophone. My goodness I cant believe that a person can express music that way. The music transcends all language barriers u cant help but be mesmerised by this Cantoar? He is certainly one of the best. Excellent debut is just great.
