The first instalment of a flamenco teaching method, which is for guitarists as well as cantaores, percussionists and enthusiasts. This first volume features explanations of the alegrías with Andalusian origins, the cana of Jerez de la Frontera as a tribute to don Antonio Chacón, tonás from Triana (Seville) and tangos from Extremadura.

It provides a number of learning methods: performance by an entire band, by the cantaor (flamenco singer) on his own, or by a lone guitarist. Moreover, it is possible to eliminate the sound of the cantaor or the guitarist, in order for the student to be able to practice, accompanying the cantaor with his/her guitar, or singing with the accompaniment of the guitar playing.

The course is directed and taught by Merenguito, a cantaor who is well-respected by the critics and public alike, and has been awarded several prizes.
