Fourth volume of the official transcriptions of Paco de Luica’s work.
Transcribed by the master Enrique Vargas, director of the “Biblioteca Grandes Guitarras Flamencas de Hoy” collection, who faced the incredible challenge in faithfully and thoroughly transcribing such a complex and important work.
Paco de Lucía, uses several innovations used until then in “Almoraima”: Each of the eight tracks on the album has one of these innovations, and with sometimes up to five guitar tracks, electric bass, percussion, one track with lute and vocals tracks. All of these elements have made the transcription very difficult. Despite of this Enrique Vargas offers different solutions for each track always sticking faithfully to the original.
All of the pieces are perfectly playable for both solo guitar and duet (except for the rumba and sevillanas which can only be played in duet). Each track comes with explicative notes in Spanish and English. The sheet music is presented in both music score and tab. The finger work and technical details are presented in the most thorough way possible.

¡Gracias Maestros!
Después de habernos sorprendido con las transcripciones de Pepe Habichuela, Tomatito, El Viejín y Rafael Riqueni, el maestro Enrique Vargas nos regala este maravilloso libro donde quedará grabada la música del genio Paco de Lucía. Las transcripciones son excelentes, detalladas, contienen todas las herramientas necesarias para que el guitarrista disfrute estudiando la música de este gran Maestro. LO MEJOR
Tengo todos los libros de Vargas - del Viejín, Riqueni, Habichuela, Tomate-. Ahora, por fin, esta joya. Las de Vargas son las únicas transcripciones en el mercado que son correctas, tanto en cuanto al texto como, (lo que es más importante todavía) a las técnicas y digitaciones.
Gracias, maestro, por haber preservado la obra del genio de Lucía de forma tan exacta. Menudo currazo y mucho arte.

La importancia de esta obra (además de ser la transcripción de Almoraima) es vital para cualquier músico que sepa apreciar el flamenco y para preservar el legado de genialidad que nos deja el maestro Paco de Lucia. Su música y obra no se debe perder, y gracias a estas transcripciones quedarán plasmadas para las generaciones venideras y también vivirá su música en los guitarristas y músicos que interpretemos y estudiemos su obra.
