The first chapter, entitled 'Fiestas Públicas' (Public Feasts), gives an overview of the popular feasts in Andalusia through the presentation by José María Velázquez-Gatzelu: the Cádiz Carnaval, with its chirigotas and tanguillos, the Feria de Abril (April Fair) in Seville, with its sevillanas and rumbas, and the Rocío, with its sevillanas rocieras and bulerías.
'Sevilla Morena' (Dark-skinned Seville), is the title of the second chapter, which is presented by Fernando Quiñones. It is dedicated to the temperamental bailaora (female flamenco dancer) Manuela Carrasco, who offers us some soleares which she finishes off in a bulerías style, with unquestionable mastery.
The third chapter, 'Cejilla y Pañolon', features Merche Esmeralda dancing caña, tangos and tientos.
And in the final part of this DVD, entitled 'El Niño, único protagonista' (The child, the only protagonist), the children Arsenio and Almudena de Jerez perform La Caña, choreographed by Cristóbal Fernández 'El Jerezano'.
