The third CD by Vicente Amigo, with which he won prizes for the Best Flamenco Songwriter and the Best Flamenco Composer in the second edition of the Premios de la Música (Music Awards), held by the Academia de las Artes y las Ciencias de la Música (Academy of Arts and the Science of Music) as an acknowledgement of Spanish and Latin American music. He composed it in 1992 and, at first, he called it Concierto flamenco para un marinero en tierra. It represents a beautiful challenge whose elements couldn't be better: Alberti's poetry, Vicente's flamenco guitar, and the grandeur of a symphony orchestra, the Cordoba Orchestra, directed by the exceptional Leo Brower, the Directory of the Cuban Symphony Orchestra, and a fundamental figure, not only of Cuban music but also of music worldwide.
