“Coplas que nos han matao” is Falete’s latest release and his third album in which he performs cover versions of great tracks. Falete tackles the world of coplas with brilliance and without forgetting any of the all time icons.
In “Coplas que nos han matao”, the most excessive, overwhelming and devoted artist of the Spanish scene sings the most emblematic of Spanish songs ("Tatuaje", "A tu vera", "Romance de la Reina Mercedes", "Tengo miedo", "Cinco farolas"...), but not forgetting songs by Manuel Alejandro that were sung by Rocío Jurado ("Paloma brava", "Mi amante amigo"), José Alfredo Jiménez’s great rancheras ("La media vuelta") and including a tribute to Lole and Manuel ("Nuevo día"), and to Manolo Caracol with version of the classic"La salvaora".
"Coplas que nos han matao" is produced by Jesús Bola and includes virtuoso guitarists (Moraíto Chico, Diego de Morao...) and the Bratislava Sinphonic Orchestre.
