Length: 80 minutes
Language: Spanish
Subtitles: English, Japanese and French.
An ideal DVD to learn, in an enjoyable and entertaining way, how to organise a party in a bulería style, step by step.
It features Carmelilla Montoya and her mother Carmen, members of the famous "Montoya Family" of Triana (a characteristic Seville neighbourhood with an important flamenco tradition). They are accompanied by the guitarists José Acedo the son and Antonio Moreno, and the cantaor (flamenco singer) Moisés Cano.
All of them display, in a very didactic manner (through the questions asked by a female enthusiast, the detailed explanations provided by Carmelilla and the practical demonstrations by her mother and the other accompanying artists) how to execute the palmas (rhythmic hand-clapping), the flamenco singing, the jaleos (encouragement and expressions of admiration through loud interjections, clapping and gestures), etc.
