"Calivinacá" ("I´m a gypsy" in the caló gypsy language) is the debut album by this young cantaora from Illora (Granada), who enjoys the participation of the the guitarists Paco Fernández and Niño Jero, as well as Juan Reina. Carmen Carmona performs songs in a wide range of styles in this record, from the more orthodox ones like soleares, bulerías, seguirillas, tangos and fandangos, to others that are more commercial, like rumbas or styles that are merged with pop music or Latin rhythms.
