"Chambao puro" is the recording of a concert staged in the Castillo de Soheil (Fuengirola, Málaga) on 30 September 2005. Chambao enjoyed the guest appearances by Miguel Campallo -the lead singer of Elbicho-, Antonio Carmona -a member of Ketama- and Bebe - the winner of the 2005 Latin Grammy for the best new artist.
Chambao features the essence of flamenco and is 100% Chambao. The DVD also contains the "making of" the concert, with interviews and shots from the concert preparations.

su voz entra por los oidos y por la piel...
La Mari tiene una voz capaz de ser sentida hasta por un sordo porque entra hasta por la piel. La esquisitez, pureza, armonia, equilibrio y energia hacen de esta cantante algo fuera se serie, fuera de lo comun y fuera de los canones acostumbrados. Mas alla que no lo hace a traves de algo nuevo (porque la musica flamenca es desde siempre), lo proyecta de una manera nueva, fresca y tan profesional, que raya con lo casi perfecto.
