It is a small triangular shawl with fringes on both sides. It is ideal as a light piece of clothing to cover oneself or as an accessory for a dress. Any flamenco dress that is held in esteem tends to be adorned with this kind of shawl. It is also often worn as a complement with a dance jersey and skirt.

Advice: the best thing would be for the colour of the small shawl to contrast with the colour of the dress. How to wear it? There are hundreds of ways. Everyone has their own way of wearing it, whichever one they prefer, but it is traditionally worn either with its tips crossed at the front, or with its tips meeting at the front, and secured by a needle or by a discreet brooch on the back and on the décolletage.
