Like its "elder brother" - "The rituals and geography of singing" -, this series attempts to portray the world of flamenco dancing; to depict its era, and to re-create atmospheres and dances that have currently fallen into disuse, but are the foundation for all the present dance forms. All, or almost all, of the figures of the time appear in this series; they are accompanied by great cantaores (flamenco singers) and tocaores (flamenco guitarists), and they offer us the best from their repertoire.
