In this DVD, Nan Mercader teaches a full percussion course for playing the bongos, an instrument with Caribbean origins. The DVD explains the history of the instrument, how to tune it, the correct position for playing it, the different available sounds, the hand technique, learning exercises and rhythms. It also includes the musical scores of all the exercises and rhythms, and advice for buying the instrument.
This method is completed by recordings in which it is possible to listen to a band playing live, and one track that allows learners to play the instrument with the accompaniment of the rest of the band.
