This record contains recordings made by Antonio Chacón between 1913 and 1927. They are not the only ones he made during his lifetime but, unfortunately, the first recordings, which he made in the first decade of the 20th century, were lost, or became difficult to listen to as a result of their poor quality.

In this edition, the songs by Chacón are reconstructed using digital techniques. The record is accompanied by a substantial booklet that features a short introduction to the figure of Chacón and the lyrics of all the songs that are included in the record. The booklet is in Spanish and English.
