A new work by Michio Woirgardt, a German guitarist of Japanese descent. His sensitivity when composing, his training (in classical and flamenco guitar) and his outstanding technique make the record varied and inspired as a whole, as well as being laden with feeling and strength.
In it, Michio displays his varied style and brilliant technique. The bulerías, tangos and soleás, and some themes sung by Alicia Carrasco, exude beauty and purity, poetic depth and intriguing melodies. The guitar and piano are blended with Tony Clark's Japanese shakuhachi flute, in an album in which different cultures and sounds are intertwined.
