The adventures of the altar boy from a village who lives with his grandfather in the church's belltower. The little boy, JOSELITO, has a phenomenal voice, but his grandfather doesn't want him to sing because his daughter (Lina Canalejas), while she was formally engaged, ran off with a globe-trotting singer. In spite of his grandfather's disagreement, JOSELITO sings in weddings and christenings, under the guidance of the church sacristan, who views him as an easy and productive enterprise.
