Through two hundred photographs, this book captures some aspects of the last show by Sara Baras, "Sueños" (Dreams). Both in black-and-white and in colour, the photographs reflect different moments of the tour by Sara Baras and her company, both on the stage and backstage. Some of the photographs come alongside texts by the poet Pedro Soler, in Spanish and English.
The photographs were taken by Peter Müller, a photograph whose origins are Peruvian, Spanish and Swiss, and who followed the company's vicissitudes for a year. The book also features a section that is looks at the international repercussion of the show and a final part which is devoted to don Quixote and his beloved Dulcinea.
According to Sara Baras herself, "Peter has been able to seize every moment of the life of the company".
The DVD features the "making of" of the book.
"Sueños" is the first instalment of an ambitious project of Peter Müller's. Under the title "Bailando España" (Dancing Spain), the photographer seeks to make a series of books devoted to Spanish dancers.
