Romero is an expression of subtle and elegant flamenco from the Andalusian composer Juan Carlos Romero who, throughout his life, has worked with the greatest Spanish artists in first-rate oeuvres and in the movie soundtracks of the films 'Sevillanas' and 'Flamenco' by Carlos Saura. This record is a journey through the southern regions in the company of his guitar and some of the leading figures on the current flamenco scene, like Estrella Morente, Arcángel and Eva La Yerbabuena.

 La elegancia de la guitarra
Excelente concertista y compositor que ha colaborado, entre otros muchos, con Miguel Poveda en su extraordinario "Tierra de calma". "Romero" es un paseo elegante, distinguido y modernizador por los distintos palos a la guitarra, incluyendo sonoridades modernas y orientalizantes, como hiciera en mayor medida Pepe Habichuela con la Bollywood Orchestra. Juan Carlos Romero sorprende con su toque claro, rápido, transparente y creativo. La guitarra flamenca sigue teniendo un magnífico y fructífero futuro por muchos años.
