An artist with an extensive repertoire and excellent faculties, Pepe Pinto combined his knowledge and performance of the basic cantes (styles), with his personal fandango and his aflamencado (lit. flamencoised; that is, which experience changes as a result of the influence of flamenco) songs, and he interspersed spoken verses in some of his creations, that came to be very popular among the public. Furthermore, he was the author of the bulk of his repertoire. His original recordings on slate records have been restored for this record.
It includes the artist's biography in English and Spanish.
