In cantaor villages, there are natural characters who hold in their memory the places, times and atmospheres that the cante (flamenco singing) has within its invisible pentagram, characters who are laden with duende who frequent every courtyard and corner where this music is heard. Without being noticed, almost without being heard, they are listened to now and again, and only when someone that is deeply loved is among the public, as is the case for the great flamenco guitarist Manuel Moreno Junquera ‘Moraíto’, a genius and master of living sounds.
