A work that marks a point of inflection in the recording career of Paco de Lucía, who definitively distances himself from his roots to unveil an established personality. From this point onwards, the guitarist speeds up flamenco forms in a search for his own individual style, or swing, and he repeats the pattern of the international success he had with Entre dos aguas with a new rumba, Río ancho, the seventh track on this album.

ALMORAIMA
THIS CD {" ALMORAIMA"} ALONG WITH "FUENTE AND CAUDAL" ARE, IN MY OPINION, AMONG THE VERY BEST OF PACO'S 70'S ALBUMS

This album, along with "Guitarra Fabulosa" and "Fuente y caudal" are my favorite Paco recordings. They're the kind of albums{cd's}you're going to play over and over again.

...........OLE`!
such music can turn your life upside down .....and it did:-)
many great artists are on the flamenco scene now adays ,vicente amigo, tomatito, gerardo nunez.....and i really enjoy listening and playing their music specially the first 2.but believe me playing paco`s music is SOMETHING else technically and, emotionally speaking .
ALMORAIMA is one of the best (not just flamenco) records OF ALL TIMES .
