The new work by one of the young flamenco singers who has the deepest roots and the greatest recognition on the current flamenco scene. After devoting himself to recording an album in which he sang in tribute to Catalan poets and joining the Argentinean Rodolfo Mederos in a show that combined flamenco and tango, Poveda returns to the essence of flamenco in an album that he recorded alongside the famous guitarist Juan Carlos Romero.
In his latest record, the young Catalan cantaor (flamenco singer) embarks upon a journey into the entrails of ancestral flamenco singing and the classic flamenco forms. Memory and freshness are present in the folds of tangos, seguirillas, abandolaos (cantes featuring guitar playing executed to the rhythmic pattern of the fandango), bulerías, soleás and farrucas that were composed and interpreted with care and conviction.
"Tierra de calma" is the filter through which flamenco is distilled –by baring itself- to display its essence. It brings out the heart and soul of this musical genre for which Poveda has been constantly tracing a future.

Hola Miguel soy una gran sdmiradora tuya,solo decirte que me a gustado tu ultimo trabajo ,pero hay algo que a cambiado en tus recitales esa luz que te rodeaba no esta .Epero que este comentario no te moleste creo que Juan Carlos Romero es muy triste para ti aunque sabemos que es un buen Guitarrista,pero sera que estamos acostumbrados averte con Chicuelo que te da una alegria muy especial y tambien me gusta mucho Miguel Angel Cortes aunque no te acompaña mucho pero tambien te da mucha luz y alegria.Estos si

eres el mejor hoy dia creo que los calo tendrian que tratar de dejar de lao esa rivalida con los payo e intrpretar un poco la buena vos de algunos cantaores que son payo pero que cantan mejor que cualquier calo y yo creo que tu eres un cantaor por to lo alto pero pasa que no te quieren escuchar por esa espina que le dejas clavao a mas de cuatro.ole fenomeno sigue asi
