Select size

Select size:
Important!
Ainhoa, Menkes and Triana
use a sizing system very similar to those used by other
Spanish flamenco shoemakers (Don flamenco, Gallardo, Arte FyL, etc...).
Bulería Sabates uses the European standard size. The European Standard used
by Bulería Sabates is one size more than the traditional Spanish flamenco
standard size. E.g. a 36 in Menkes is a 37 for Bulería Sabates.

Select the width of your shoes:

Narrow

Wide

Advice from esflamenco.com: When it comes to selecting the width of the shoe, consider that dancing shoes tend to give a little, and that if they are too wide for you they may eventually slip off.

Select the type of heel

Heel Nº 1
(Classic heel)
5 cmts. - 2 inches.

Heel Nº 2
(Classic Heel)
7 cmts. - 2.36 inches.

Heel Nº 3
(Cuban)
5 cmts. - 2 inches.

Advice from esflamenco.com: The type of heel that is most commonly used by professionals is the 7-centimetre (2.36 inches) classic heel. However, it may be preferable for people who are learning to dance, or are not used to wearing shoes with heels, to start off with 5-centimetre (2-inch) classic heels. The Cuban heel is slightly wider than the classic heel, and it consequently provides greater stability. It is advisable for young girls and boys.
Choose whether you want them with nails or without nails:

With nails Without nails

Shoes that have nails are better suited for dancing; the picture on the right provides a detailed view of the arrangement of the nails on the sole of the shoe.

Advice from esflamenco.com: Normally, you will choose shoes with nails to dance on surfaces that are made of wood, dais, parquet or other similar materials. However, if you want them to practice at home, or if the floor in your dance school is of a terrazzo type, it will be best for you to choose shoes that don't have nails.
