Just as azúcar candé (a form of sugar sometimes used for medicinal purposes) is obtained through a slow evaporation process, this record is the result of Chano Lobato's slow walk through life and music.

This record defines the essence of Chano and of Cádiz. It is a masterpiece in which Chano acts as the ambassador of his hometown: sounds from the Cádiz bay and sounds of Caribbean Cuba and even an Argentinian tango with a bulería flavour; old sounds and new sounds, just like the ones that are characteristic of Cádiz and of Chano himself.
