Multi-zone DVD suitable for use in any country (NTSC and PAL).
Languages: Spanish, English, Japanese, French and German
Length: 55 minutes.
Didactic DVD to learn to play the flamenco guitar. Exclusively devoted to the palo (flamenco form) of the bulerías.
After playing the theme in a bulería style (Yaiza), José Manuel Montoya carries out a detailed study of his seven falsetas (melodic phrases interspersed between successions of chords) and the remate (the emphatic final part of a movement), displaying a wide range of rasgueos (forms of strumming).
Each falseta is played:
- with a slow tempo, accompanied by a metronome (blows with knuckles and rhythmic hand-clapping), with the option of choosing different audio versions (the band, the guitar on its own, or just the knuckles and hand-clapping).
- following the tempo of the Bulería, accompanied by palmas (rhythmic hand-clapping), cajón (Peruvian box-drum) and bass, with the option of choosing different audio versions (the band, the guitar on its own, emphasizing the bass, excluding the guitar or excluding the bass).
Moreover, the choice between several video options is available (the whole band, just the guitar or just the bass) to allow guitarists and bass players to practice.
The artistic group is formed by José Manuel Montoya (guitar), Curro Cueto (singing), Tomás Guero (bass), Francisco Manuel Prieto (cajón, box-drum) and José Merino, Carlos Chamorro and David García (palmas, rhythmic hand-clapping). Carlos Chamorro is responsible for the dancing.
It includes a 65-page booklet in standard notation and tablature.
