Konfusión is not a flamenco record, it is universal music made by persons from a flamenco environment. The title itself already hints at the passion that ketama feels for blending flamenco with all kinds of music from around the world. It also represents a successful effort to distance themselves from what they did in the previous record, De Akí a Ketama (1995), which achieved high sales figures.
