The Cádiz pianist Chano Domínguez presents himself with a septet and some new sounds. The septet that made this record in which Chano´s piano is joined by the gypsies´ jaleo (encouragement and expressions of admiration, in the form of shouting out loud comments or interjections, clapping or gestures) began working together on Fernando Trueba´s film Calle 54. Flamenco, like all styles that have soul, arouses passion, and can be easily adapted to jazz. The septet is formed by Chano Domínguez on piano, Guillermo McGill on drums, Alfonso Gamaza “El Moderno” on electric bass, Blas Córdoba “Kejío” singing, Tomás Moreno “Tomasito” dancing and hand clapping, and Israel Suárez “El Piraña” on percussion.
