In this record, Paco uses flamenco percussion once again; the zapateado (a rhythmic combination of sounds made by stepping with the toe, sole and heel of the foot) of the bailaor (flamenco dancer) Antonio Valdepeña, with Antoñita Imperio and Pilar La Cubanita on castanets and rhytmic hand-clapping. There is a perfect understanding between the guitar playing of the two brothers, which is precise and is enormously expressive. The repertoire belongs to Andalusian popular music and throughout the record, Paco's guitar 'sings' and executes the most intense improvised musical dialogues, whereas Ramón accompanies, occasionally providing a second voice and rounding off his brother's deft guitar playing.
